Hello! My name is Alice.
I have been doing photography in some way shape or form my whole life - my mum could show you some pretty sweet pictures of weddings and family events from a child's perspective! However, I properly picked up a camera about four years ago after rediscovering my love for documenting the people and things around me.
I find humans immensely fascinating. Finding out that a first impression is formed in only 7 seconds is something that challenges me. What kind of image are we presenting in the way we hold ourselves, in our language and in our ability to relate one one another?
Image is both a challenge and a joy, personally and corporately. Image helps us define who we are, it’s an out working of our inner passions and the things we hold close to our hearts. However, image in this sense is not often celebrated as it becomes a place of competition. I’m trying a new thing. I want to join with you in rejoicing over what makes you, you. The you that you were created to be. I hope that this would never be a place of competition, but a place of inspiration, a place that would push you forwards in being the incredible you.
My photography aims to capture lives, passions, special moments and people express something of what makes each personality I encounter undeniably unique. I’m also just trying to work out this whole life thing for myself. So if you can bear with me, please join me on this adventure.
